I loved the peaceful location of this hotel, with stunning views of the harbor. The cottages are well removed from each other, and I felt like I had complete privacy. The staff was attentive, responsive, and always provided cheerful service. The fireplace was a wonderful addition, and I enjoyed spending nights in front of it. The beds were comfortable, and the lounge area had cozy seating.
Nothings.

I love that the cottage was nice and warm on arrival and the fire avalible with wood and paper all ready. Also the location was priceless, nice and private for a relaxing get away
Could of been more toilet paper as we had only a quarter of a roll and a sink cloth would of been nice.

Following the welcome where we were told to have a relaxed checkout, to the absolutely beautiful view from our spotlessly presented cootage to the absolute privacy with only the sound of the occasional tui in the morning. Superb and would happily stay again.
My wife found the steep access road a little challenging.

Stay in a private setting and enjoy the breathtaking views of the harbor while being close enough to the charming town center. the cottages are nestled down the lush hills and just a short walk from the main street. Accommodation is clean, well-maintained, and fits anyone's budget. the room amenities are complete, kitchenettes are handy for a quick meal, and toiletries are well stocked.
The internet connection may not be reliable, though this may vary depending on the device used.

The fire was so lovely and homely. It was exactly what we needed.
Paint smell was quite overpowering and woke in the night with a headache but I understand this was a one off.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing and very comfortable with great views.
A little far to walk into town at night. Although just under a km there is no street lights, however the sun sets late so you can work around this.

The staff were responsive, cheerful, and helpful. They replaced a stained comforter and provided the parental lock code. They also extinguished an electrical fire and offered us a place to recover. The location was secluded with a beautiful view of Akaroa. The cottage had everything we needed, including a cozy fireplace for cold nights.
Nothing, all was good.

We liked the privacy and views from our cottage.
It would have been nice to have ice available upon our arrival as we drink spirits on ice.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel nestled on a hillside overlooking the beautiful harbor. The location among the lush hills and tree canopy provided a serene atmosphere that constantly serenaded us with the sounds of nature. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a cozy sitting area. We also enjoyed the patio where we could relax and take in the stunning views. The service was top-notch, with the resident manager making us feel like royalty and going above and beyond to ensure our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebration was special. The complimentary breakfast and late checkout added an extra touch of pampering.
Recommend this hotel to family, as it offers enhanced comfort and quality services that guarantee a pleasant and memorable stay.

Individual cottages set in natural woodlands overlooking the sea at Akaroa which was great. The accomodation was really good and very private
Very dark at night and an extremely steep driveway to reception

My family and I spent our Xmas holidays at a beautiful cozy place. the cottages were located in a serene and peaceful location. We enjoyed the breathtaking views of the scenery around the cottages and the fireplace was a nice touch. the cleanliness of the cottages exceeded our expectations and the staff was accommodating and friendly. We were given fresh towels every day and amenities were restocked.
There were no shopping facilities on-site, which made it difficult to buy food and drinks. the bed was not as comfortable as we had hoped and the noise from the neighbours caused a disturbance.
